A third newly upgraded C-130H2 Hercules, tail 79287, arrives, Aug. 8, 2019, and is now assigned to the 179th Airlift Wing, Mansfield, Ohio. These aircraft were recently upgraded at Dyess AFB, TX. and arrived with Electronic Propeller Control Systems (EPCS), ensuring they meet requirements for incorporating modular blade technology (NP2000), an upgrade that would give them eight bladed propellers.
